Along with Pack 370 some of the boys went on a tour of the Hazel-Atlas Mine silica sand mine.

Comcast Go See It

Along with Pack 370 and Pack 309, the boys got a tour of the Comcast facility in Pittsburg. The boys had a great time and learned about what goes on behind the scenes to get television signals into our homes. A special thanks to Mrs. Stein from Pack 370 for organizing the trip.

Trails End Popcorn Commercial

As part of this years Popcorn sales effort, the boys put together a little commercial titled Powered By Popcorn. Here it is for your enjoyment.

August 13th--PEAK Training at REI

Along with Pack 309 we attended PEAK (Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids) training at REI in Concord. The REI staff taught the boys how to be responsible in the outdoors and how to always Leave No Trace. After the training the boys, and adults, all got to try climbing the rock wall.

July 25th--Cub Scout Camp Out

For the boys first ever over night camping trip, the Cofer's volunteered their back yard.

Big News

While we no longer have any Webelos in our pack, we do have new Tiger Cubs, Jesse and Braden and a new Tiger Den Leader, Cyndi Mallory and a new Bear Den with lone Bear Tyler and Den Leader Trisha Douthit. Our current Tiger's were promoted to Wolf on 6/4/09. This is the first time Pack 316 has ever had Tiger, Wolf and Bear Den's operating simultaneously.

Blackhawk 500

The boys competed at the Blackhawk 500 and, while they didn't win any trophy's, they did have a great time watching the races, doing crafts and touring the museum.

Webelos Advancement

We lost our last Webelos as they moved on to Boy Scouts. Troop 317 put on a wonderful ceremony.

February Pack Meeting

At the February Pack Meeting all 5 Tiger Cubs received their Tiger badges. They worked really hard to earn them. They now have the honor of being the first Cubs to receive Tiger badges in the history of Pack 316.

11/12/08 Tiger Cubs Make Honor Roll

Breaking News: Two of Pack 316's Tiger Cubs have made the Honor Roll. Both Cubs are First Graders at Kings Valley Christian School in Concord, CA. Harley Estrella's hard work gained him a place on the Honor Roll. Jarod Jatoft worked extra hard and gained a place on the Principal's Honor Roll with his 4.0 grade point average. Way to go boys!

10/02/08 Tiger Cub Den 1's First Pack Meeting

The Tiger Cubs attended their first ever Pack meeting with their Cub Scout Troop. All three of the boys earned their Bobcat badges and another bead for learning about the weather. Here are pictures of Race, Jarod and Harley receiving their awards and playing the book return game.
